JOEL M. POLLACK
Mr. Pollack joined Ritsema & Lyon in 1995 and is a shareholder. He practices primarily in the area of workers’ compensation. A former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio, he has comprehensive litigation experience. He is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Ohio. Mr. Pollack takes a client-centered practice approach based on constant communication with his clients. He adheres to the firm’s strong teamwork orientation. Mr. Pollack realistically assesses each case early in the process, outlining a strategy for each claim and preparing thoroughly in advance. He recommends litigating only those cases that should be litigated and resolving those that are best handled without the risks of litigation. Mr. Pollack is a member of the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association and its Workers’ Compensation Section. A graduate of the University of Oregon Law School, Mr. Pollack was Associate Editor of the Oregon Law Review and a finalist in the school’s Moot Court competition.
