THOMAS M. CONDAS

Thomas M. Condas joined the firm in early 2003. Prior to moving to Colorado, Mr. Condas practiced for 19 years at and was a shareholder of, Hollins, Schechter & Condas, an insurance defense firm based in Orange County, California. Mr. Condas has handled an extensive variety of insurance defense related matters, including construction defect suits (defending both general and sub contractors), construction contract claims, environmental (mold) claims (representing Homeowners Associations and construction professionals), uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, automobile liability, premises liability, product liability and other personal injury related matters. Mr. Condas has also been involved in handling workers' compensation and subrogation claims both as a litigator and as a departmental managing partner.

Mr. Condas has presented numerous lectures on issues of importance to the insurance industry, including litigation strategy in construction defect and mold claims, subrogation recognition and recovery techniques, investigating and litigating uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and identifying the red flags of fraudulent claims. Mr. Condas authored or co-authored many of the seminar booklets utilized in these presentations.

Mr. Condas graduated from Western State University College of Law in 1984 and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah in 1981. Mr. Condas is a member of the Colorado, California and Utah state bars.
