MIMI A. METZGER

Ms. Metzger is a shareholder with Ritsema & Lyon who works out of the Denver office. Ms. Metzger's practice focuses on defense of employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation claims in Colorado. Ms. Metzger is in the process of expanding her practice areas to include defense of employers in matters that concern the Family Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Above all else, Ms. Metzger values her ongoing client relationships and a team work approach to resolving claim disputes. Ms. Metzger has extensive litigation experience handling defense of complex workers' compensation claims. Ms. Metzger is committed to the firm's core values of outstanding professionalism, client responsiveness, and a results driven litigation practice.

Ms. Metzger received her law degree in 2001 from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. While in Oregon, Ms. Metzger strengthened her litigation skills through her work at the Oregon State Public Defender's office. After graduating from Lewis and Clark, she moved to Colorado and was admitted to the bar in 2001. Ms. Metzger received her bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of California at San Diego. She is a member of the Colorado Bar and Denver Bar Associations.
