KELLY F. KRUEGEL
Ms. Kruegel joined Ritsema & Lyon as a summer associate in 2004 and became an associate after receiving her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2005. While at Washington University, Ms. Kruegel excelled in moot court competitions, winning the prestigious intraschool Wiley Rutledge competition in 2003-2004. Ms. Kruegel was a semi-finalist and received both Best Preliminary Oralist and Best Oralist in the Nation at the Burton D. Wechsler National First Amendment Moot Court Competition in February, 2004. At the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition, 2004-2005 New Orleans Regional, Ms. Kruegel received second place as Best Advocate and was in the top eight teams overall at the competition. Ms. Kruegel was awarded the Judge Amandus Brackman Moot Court Prize upon graduation from Washington University. She graduated cum laude with two bachelors degrees from Truman State University.
