JOAN A. GOLDSMITH Ms. Goldsmith has practiced workers’ compensation law since 1979, beginning her career representing the State Workmen’s Insurance Fund in Scranton and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She relocated to Colorado in 1985 and began practicing workers’ compensation defense in 1991 at Hall & Evans. She managed her own general private practice firm between 1995 and 2008, representing individuals and uninsured employers in workers’ compensation cases, as well as an estate planning practice. She joined Ritsema & Lyon’s Colorado Springs office in 2009. Ms. Goldsmith enjoys the unique legal and factual situations presented in workers’ compensation cases, as well as being an armchair medical reviewer.   Ms. Goldsmith was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1978, Pennsylvania in 1979, and Colorado in 1986. She received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1978 and her undergraduate degree from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, in 1975, where she majored in French and Economics.    JOAN A.
